1. Match packaging to the part surface and transport route

Cosmetic plastic housings, painted parts, transparent covers and precision connector parts need different packaging protection. Buyers should define scratch protection, deformation limits, carton strength, pallet method, humidity risk and whether parts can touch each other during ocean or air shipment.

2. Make lot labels easy to read after arrival

Labels should include part number, revision, quantity, material, color, production date, lot number and inspection status. For multi-cavity molds or mixed shipments, cavity or batch separation can help locate the root cause if a later issue is found.

3. Keep inspection records connected to shipment lots

Outgoing inspection records should connect measured dimensions, appearance checks, assembly tests, packaging inspection and shipment quantity. This matters for medical device housings, electronics enclosures, automotive plastic parts and other projects where buyers need production evidence.

4. Approve packaging before mass shipment

A packaging sample, drop test requirement or customer packing instruction can prevent shipment damage. If a buyer changes carton quantity, bag method, labels or pallet requirements after approval, the supplier should check whether the new method affects part appearance or logistics cost.
